RGVFlood Sub-Regional Hydraulic Models

BrazenHead is a River Analysis System Model Wizard, made up of a series of tools that facilitate construction and execution of a HEC-RAS model domain using cloud resources. BrazenHead is currently under active development with goals of:

• auto-generating HEC-RAS domain input files from data available on REON data sources;
• running HEC-RAS against domain specific data inputs on the cloud;
• proposing real-time sensor network layout by optimizing locations with least confidence/greatest sensitivity; and
• providing preliminary alternatives analysis using multi-objective optimization and localized design constraints.
